Ingredients

    4 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
    2 tablespoons (8tsp) baking powder
    2 1/2 tsp salt
    2 tablespoons Blue Agave liquid organic sweetener
    2 sticks butter, softened but not melted
    2 cups 1% milk

Directions

Heat oven to 425. In a large bowl mix flour, baking powder, salt and sweetener. Cut butter in with a pastry blender until small pea-size pieces form. Mix in milk until soft ball forms. On lightly floured surface knead for 1 minuted. Pat dough into a circle about 3/4" thick and cut out with a large biscuit cutter. Back on greased baking sheet 15 minutes or until golden. Freeze any unused biscuits prior to baking. To bake frozen biscuits bake at 400 for about 20 minutes.
