Ingredients

1/2 LB. (2 sticks) Light Butter or Margerine, Room Temp.
1 cup Sugar Twin Brown Sugar
1/2 cup White Splenda
2 Egg Beaters
1 tesp. Vanilla
1 1/2 cups Unbleached Flour
1 teasp. Baking Soda
1 teasp. Cinnamon, Optional
1/2 teasp. Salt
3 cups OLD Fashioned Oats,Dry
1/2 cup Raisins, soaked and drained, and Blended to Pulp
1/2 cup Chopped Nuts
1/2 cup MINI chocolate chips
24 Servings, 2 cookies each
24 servings, 1 Bar each
Directions
Heat oven to 350*--Beat together Butter & Sugars till creamy, Add Egg beaters and Vanilla, beat well, Add combined Flour, Soda, Cinnamon and Salt, mix well. Stir in Oats, nuts, Raisin Pulp and mix Well. Now add the Nuts and Chocolate Chips, fold in well.
Drop by rounded teaspoon onto UNgreased Cookie sheets, bake 10 to 13 min. if you like a "Chewy" cookie, or 15 to 25 min. for a "Crunchy" cookie. Cool 1 to 2 min. on the cookie sheet, then remove to a wire rack.
Makes about 48 cookies, OR if you want "Bars", Bake 30 to 35 min. in an UNgreased 13X9 baking pan. Cut into Bars while still warm.

i think the calorie count is off on this. two sticks of light butter have over 1000 calories and divided by 24 the butter alone would make these cookies around 40 calories each before adding anything else to them. they do look tasty though :) - 12/17/09

I'm SURE the count is OFF, I didn't understand the directions to useing the "Counter". But the cookies ARE wonderful, I just ever eat only 2.
