Introduction

Garlic, Lemon juice, and pepper pasta mixed with Chicken and Italian Seasonings. Garlic, Lemon juice, and pepper pasta mixed with Chicken and Italian Seasonings.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1.5 Lbs chicken breast (boneless skinless)
    1 lb whole wheat thin spaghetti
    2 Lemons
    Italian Seasoning (approx 2 tsp)
    Garlic Powder (approx 2 tsp)
    1/2 cup chopped red onion
    3 cloves garlic (chopped)
    3 tsp ground black pepper
    2 tbsp Olive Oil
    1 tbsp grated parmesean cheese





Directions

Makes APPROXIMATELY 6 One cup servings...

Cube chicken breast, and season wtih garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Coat pan with 1 tbsp Olive oil and until heated
Add garlic and onion to pan, and sautee for approx 1 minute or until onion is clear.
Add Chicken to the pan, and sautee for about 6 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink.
Take juice of one lemon, and pour into pan, and let simmer 1-3 minutes.

Meanwhile, boil 6 cups water and add 1 lb whole wheat spaghetti and cook according to box instructions.
Once cooked, drain spaghetti and add to chicken, onion, garlic and lemon mixture.
Heat through, and add juice of one lemon, italian seasoning, and salt and pepper to taste.
Top each serving with 1 tsp of grated parmesean cheese
