Ingredients

    1 3/4 c Flour
    2 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
    3/4 tsp Salt
    1/2 c Shortening
    1/2 c 1% Milk

Directions

Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in shortening. Add milk, just until the dough comes together. Place dough on a lightly floured surface and knead lightly. Roll out to about 1/2" thickness and cut out biscuits with a biscuit cutter or cup. Place on a greased (with pam) baking sheet so that the biscuits touch. Bake in a 450 degree oven until golden brown (about 10-12 minutes). Makes about 12 biscuits - adjust servings as necessary if you're making a different size.
