Ingredients

10-12 cups any mixed greens (iceberg, romaine, spinach) cut up. Enough to make a 1 inch layer in a 9"x13" dish.
1 red or green bell pepper, diced
    1/2 cup diced sweet onion
    10 ounces frozen peas
1 cup Kraft Miracle Whip Light
    1 tablespoon sugar
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/4 teaspoon basil, crumbled
2 hard boiled eggs, sliced thin
    6 ounces Cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

In a 9"x13" glass casserole dish layer first four ingredients in the order given. Mix dressing-Miracle Whip Light, sugar, salt, garlic powder and basil. Spread over vegetables. Top with sliced eggs. Cover all with shredded cheese. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
This is the way our family likes it. For company I increase the Miracle Whip Light by 1/4 cup, which adds 10 calories per serving.

Using a glass pan makes a pretty dish to set on the table and see the layers.

Makes 12 servings.
