Introduction

Use a whole chicken for this recipe. My hubby said this was the best dish yet! The chicken falls apart it is so tender. Remove the chicken and all the bones and the rest makes a delicious chicken soup with rice or noodles. I used Hungry Girl soy fettucine noodles to make GF chicken noodle soup. Ingredients

    Homemade Herb Mix:
    Rosemary, dried, 1 tbsp
    *Kosher Salt, 3 tsp
    *Onion powder, 1 tbsp
    Paprika, 1 tbsp
    Garlic powder, 1 tbsp
    Tarragon, ground, .5 tbsp
    Thyme, ground, .5 tbsp
    Pepper, black, 1 tsp
    Sage, ground, .5 tsp

    Whole Organic or Amish Chicken
    Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend, .25 cup of the above mix
    *Chicken Boullion Cube (Wylers brand), 1 cube
    Lemon Peel dried, 0.5 tsp
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Carrots, raw, 4 large (7-1/4" to 8-1/2" long)
    *Potato, raw, 6 small (1-3/4" to 2-1/2" dia.)
    *Holland House Cooking White Wine, .75 cup
    Water, tap, 4 cup (8 fl oz)

Directions

place all ingredients in a large crockpot. Cook for 10 hours (lowest setting)
