Dosas are well known as an essential part of the South Indian cuisine. However, there are healthier versions that people can choose instead of the oily dosas that use white rice and urad dal (contributing to higher carbohydrate and fat content in your diet). However, there are healthier versions that people can choose instead of the oily dosas that use white rice and urad dal (contributing to higher carbohydrate and fat content in your diet).
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1) Ragi - 1.5 cups (totals around 70 to 80)
    2) Water
    3) Salt to taste
    4) Oilve Oil - 2 tsp

Directions

1) Mix 2 tbsp of Ragi with some water till it reaches a thick consistency. Make sure it is not too runny.
2) Add the fennel seeds and salt and mix.
3) Make pancakes using olive oil (dosas in India).
You can also add some onions, garlic and freshley chopped coriander leaves to the batter and make some delicious Ragi dosas.
This makes 4 dosas of medium size.
