Introduction

Yummy and nutritiously low fat! This non-tomato chili is mildly spicy (adjust upward on the chili powder or add some tabasco if you want to pop it up) and VERY tasteful. Ingredients

    3 lbs extra lean ground turkey
    60 oz (2 cans) white beans (I use 1 cannellini and 1 white kidney bean)
    2 large onions, chopped
    1/3 C. minced garlic
    1 Tbsp oregano
    2 tsp cumin
    2 tsp chili powder (chipotle recommended)
    2 11-oz cans low sodium/low fat chicken broth
    1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Directions

Brown the ground turkey with onions. Place in crockpot with all remaining ingredients and cook on high for 4 hours.

Garnish with greek yogurt, shredded cheese, and extra freshly chopped cilantro (none of the garnishes included in nutrition calculation).

    Very Good
    Couple of things need adjusted in my opinion but overall very good recipe...
    2 pounds of ground turkey
    Maybe half or 3/4 of a large onion (2 is way too much - even 1 was too much for me)
    Maybe 1/4 cup of garlic (and used the minced kind you buy in a jar - fresh doesn't cook down in 4 hrs in crock
