Introduction

Shrimp with penne pasta and peppers Shrimp with penne pasta and peppers
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 pack of Whole Wheat Penne Pasta
    1 Green Peppers (bell peppers), cut into 1" strips
    1Peppers, sweet, red cut into 1' strips
    28 oz can of tomato sauce seasoned to taste
    1lb Shrimp cooked and deveined
    1 med.Onions, raw cut into 1" strips
    1 tsp Minced Garlic
    2 tbs extra light olive oil

Directions

Put on a large pot of water to boil for the pasta.
Boil tomato sauce in a sauce pan and season to taste I used garlic salt, Mrs. Dash Original, Italian Seasoning
Chop onions and peppers sautee in a large skillet with olive oil when they start to get soft remove to a bowl. Add shrimp to skillet when they are translucent add peppers back to skillet and the tomato sauce cook until pasta is soft. Drain pasta and add shrimp mixture to pasta and serve with a salad.

Makes 6 1 -cup servings
