Introduction

This is a variation of Betty Crocker's Chicken Paprika. I just decided to stick mine in a crock pot rather than on a stove and I used chicken base rather than liquid chicken broth. Ingredients

    2 medium onions, cut lengthwise in half, then cut crosswise into very thin slices
    2 medium stalks celery, sliced
    1 tbsp. minced garlic
    2 tbsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 chicken breast OR (what I used) 1 pkg. Perdue Fit & Easy Freezer-Ready Pouch (use both chicken breasts)
    1/4 cup chicken base
    1/4 cup water
    1/2 container (16 oz., approx. 1 cup) reduced fat sour cream
    3 cups egg noodles

Directions

Boil chicken. While the chicken boils, chop celery and onion, add to crock pot. Add all other ingredients. Put chicken inside crock pot and let simmer on low for approximately 8 hours. Serves 4.
