Introduction

Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    2 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
    2 tbsp sugar
    2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast (or one package)
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp cinnamon
    1 3/4 cups skim milk
    1/3 cup unsweetened apple sauce

Directions

Mix all the ingredients together in a medium sized mixing bowl in order listed. Beat thoroughly until combined. Cover with plastic wrap and keep in fridge overnight.

Cook waffles according to waffle iron instructions. Serve with cut up fruit and yogurt for a healthy topping. Makes about 10 waffles.
