Introduction

Stove top meal that is easy and quick to make. I added 1 grated zuccini to this recipe and I think it was the best I have ever made. I will add it as a regular ingredient. Stove top meal that is easy and quick to make. I added 1 grated zuccini to this recipe and I think it was the best I have ever made. I will add it as a regular ingredient.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb. Ground Beef (cooked and drained)
    1 zuccini grated (optional added in calculation)
    1/8 tsp garlic powder
    1/8 tsp dried thyme
    1/8 tsp oregano
    1/2 bay leaf
    2 cups tomato (or 1 can chopped tomatoes)
    1 can condensed mushroom soup
    1 cup minute rice
    Salt & Pepper to taste
    5 slices of american cheese (optional added in calculation)

Directions

Brown ground beef and drain. Add zuccini and stir fry. Add tomato and mushroom soup. Mix well. Add minute rice and herbs. Cover and cook until rice is done. 5-10 minutes. Place sliced cheese on top and cover to melt.

Serving Size: Makes about 8 servings.
