Inspired by an old red velvet cake recipe, I replace food color with water, replace sugar with Stevia, reduce the fat and add unsweetened applesauce for bulk. I use a thin spread of cooked buttercream frosting with this cake in half of the amount (1/4 recipe with 1T flour, 1/4 c milk, 1/4 c butter, 1/4 c sugar, 1/4 t vanilla).
1 sugar free angel food cake
1 pint blueberries
1.5 medium bananas
4 cups fat free jello pudding 2 vanilla & 2 chocolate
3/4 container lite cool whip thawed in frig
A really great summer recipe from a Williams-Sonoma Cookbook, "New Flavors- Desserts". Slight adaptations.
A wonderful recipe I tried to substitute healthier ingredients without ruining the taste. You can add nuts if you'd like, I don't like nuts in food, so I leave them out. Hope it works
On a low carb diet but crave those wonderful no bake cookies with oatmeal & peanut butter? Me, too! Here is a very good substitute that works for me! Enjoy!
This delicious and low fat treat is great for the whole family and a welcome treat on a warm night. My mother made this throughout my whole childhood. I suggest making it the night before to let all the ingredients really absorb the flavors.
These cookies are a super-fast, relatively low-cal treat to curb chocolate cravings. Regular cocoa may be used, but the cookies will not be so densely chocolate. Be careful not to overbake.
An amazingly simple gluten free chocolate chip cookies!!!
Moist, chewy and delicious cookies with the unique flavor combo of peanut butter and banana! These can be made in a standard size cookie for a great snack or treat, or you can make jumbo cookies which would be great for a breakfast on the go!
Sneaking in fiber and nutrients with dessert. Great left over for breakfast the next day. Based on a version from Family Fun Magazine. If you aren't using a food processor, pulverize a cup of the oats to flour like consistency in a blender.
