too much sodium
AMAZING !!! even my picky eater child (who never eats chicken willingly) chowed down on these !!! We used low fat feta and lean chicken to cut back fat and calories but they were so nummy !!!
YUM! These taste like meatballs my mom used to make. We will be making these again and again. We used Mediterranean herb fat-free feta, so we should have cut down on the oregano. Still, they were delicious.
Yummy! I made these today! but instead of chicken I used ground turkey, and i used reduced fat sundried tomato feta!!! Also i added a little olive oil and eggwhites to keep them from getting dry!
and No Oregano. I added a little onion powder and tabasco as well. So Yummy!!! Thanks for the great ide
You can lower the calories etc by using 93% lean turkey or chicken NOT beef. Lower the fat by using fat free feta. Omit the salt. New values approx. 195 cal, 8.1 fat, 535 sodium. Perfect. Thanks for the idea.
I made my differently and I not use the salt. I would add more chopped bell peppers.
These were very good. I made them with ground turkey, but I'd recommend not using turkey breast. Though it's lower in fat, it's very dry.
I made this and left the salt out as the cheese provides plenty and used fat free feta and served in a pita with tomatoe and yogurt mixed with chopped mint to make it a little more mediteranian!! Really excellant!!
Very tasty! I also used ground turkey and omitted the salt. I sprayed the forman grill with Pam and served them on whole wheat hamburger rolls with lettuce, tomato and ketchup. My hubby also loved them!
WOW!This was the first recipe I tried from this site.I used reduced fat feta.My husband and I loved them. He had his on a bun w/mayo and lettuce. Not watching his weight(of course). I had mine like a steak-on the plate.I was surprised how juicy and tasty they are. This one is a keeper. :)
These were a very tasty change to the grilled burgers and chicken this summer. We did decrease the amount of feta cheese to 4 ounces and didn't add any salt, but the "burgers" sad the wonderful feta taste and great texture.
These burgers are great. I did not add the salt or the whole amount of feta. And I used reduced fat feta. Very good.
Sounds Great! Cant's wait to try them. I bet you can reduce the fat even more if you extra lean ground turkey instead of chicken. Using reduced fat feta is a good idea MSPENCER79
I changed it up a bit and used fat free feta cheese - and changed the seasonings to 1/2 T Oregano - 1/2 T dried onions - 1/2 T Chives - (not really fond of Oregano - but wanted some of it in there) these were 5 WW pts instead of 7 WW pts. I tried these again used grnd chicken breast now 3 ww pts
