Nutrition & Calorie Comments

This was so good but used only a little sugar as I don't like my meat too sweet
So delicious - we made this without the sugar and the chicken and bacon was so yummy
people... sugar is not always our enemy... a quarter cup divided between 10 servings is about 2 tablespoons per serving... nothing to worry about... look at calorie count... no big deal
mADE IT WITHOUT THE SUGAR! wE LOVED IT!
wonderful! husband is diabetic so I cut the sugar and marinated the chicken in frozen orange juice and cinnamon.
Hubby is diabetic, so I skipped the sugar. It was delicious! I've also done, this with jumbo shrimp. Yummy!
Brine the chicken first, then don't overcook. I used real fatty bacon to make sure the meat stayed moist.
Sounds yummy, BUT, I cannot make sense of the calorie & carb values listed.
If 48 calories in a serving come from Organic Brown Sugar, & each gram of sugar has about 4 calories, then there would have to be at least 12 grams of Carbohydrate/sugar per serving.
Only 17 calories in 4 oz. of chicken?
Great quick and easy high protein food. I really like this.
I used Splenda brown sugar blend. They were very good. Will make again.
Tastes great. Nothing to change. And a calorie count that allows you to enjoy.
with a pinch of salt it's perfect, especially with a side dish of mac & cheese with broccoli
Bacon is awesome--it's the sugar in Spark recipes that astound me. I'll make this without the sugar.
My DH and I enjoyed this. I didn't measure ingredients, just sprinkled them on each side of chicken, wrapped bacon around chicken, then rolled in brown sugar. Will be making again.
