Nutrition & Calorie Comments

This looks good, but I am worried about the sugar content
40 grams of sugar! That is way too much for me.
My dad does not like pork chops and I don't like sweet potatoes but we tried it anyway...this was DELICIOUS! I spiced the pork w/ thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper. I coated the sweet potatoes in a little brown sugar and cinnamon...it was fantastic! Will def. make again!
I used thick cut boneless porkchops, used jellied cranberry sauce and peeled & sliced 2 granny smith apples to layer with the porkchops. I sprinkled 1 1/2 Tb brown sugar and a sprinkle of cinnamon over fresh sweet potatoes and it was all done in 3 1/2 hrs on high! Quick & tasty meal! I was impressed!
Very yummy! I added some brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg on the sweet potatoes, and they were perfect! The meat was a bit dry, next time I will cook on low for 8 hours, and it should take care of that minor problem! All in all, a great recipe!
