Excellent recipe! I've never had it from Olive Garden, but this soup was very flavorful, a bit rich from the 'fake' cream, and hearty! I used 2 strips of smart bacon (couldn't taste it, will just leave it out next time) and no-sodium chicken bullion + water. This will be a regular in our diet! - 12/18/10

Did not adhere to the low fat features, but ended up with a soup that company enjoyed and wanted the recipe for. I was unable to find turkey sausage, so used pork. Also used 1/2 cup typical half-and-half. Wish that volume of chicken broth had been specified. I used a quart. Turned out well. - 2/19/17
