I was so enthusiastic to try this recipe that I started right away, even without all the precise ingredients. I subbed plain tomato sauce and added 1 Tbl. of basil and went extra heavy on the garlic powder. I also added 1 tsp. of Taco seasoning and a pinch of Uncle Dan's Ranch dressing mix. Yum! - 3/6/11

Love this recipe- I also thought it was spice light and I tried 4 dashes of hot sause, basil, cummin, chili, and still did not have the kick I wanted- and then my eyes saw Tony Chachere's Original Creole Seasoning- covered the mixture with it and it was just what it needed- some kick and great spice - 11/8/09

This recipe was tasty! I needed an idea of how to use leftover turkey from Thanksgiving. Instead of ground turkey, I shredded the turkey meat. I didn't have the Mrs. Dash Garlic & Herb seasoning, so I used the Mrs. Dash Tomato, Basil & Garlic seasoning. It was so flavorful! My family loved it! - 12/2/08

This is one I managed to get my whole family to eat! My oldest daughter (Picky eater) said she didn't like it because of the black beans and we did add ground cummin to it but even my husband liked it!!! That is amazing because he is almost as picky as my daughter! He said it reminded him of a taco. - 1/30/08
