Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 lb lean hamburger
    1/2 lb sausage optional
    1 lg. onion
    1 tbsp. salt
    1 tbsp black pepper
    1/3 C flour
    4 cups 2% fat free Milk



Directions

Fry hamburger, and onions together until fully cooked. Drain. Add flour stir through mixture good add salt and pepper. Slowly add milk and stir until mixture starts to bubble and thicken. Turn to med low and cook five minutes longer. Mixture will thicken as it cools. For breakfast serve over biscuit ot toast for dinner or lunch serve over mashed potatoes or noodles. Serving size about 3\4 C

    I made the Creamed Hamburger gravy recipe for dinner tonight. It was delicious. I served it over toast but would have been even better over biscuits. Will try that next time and will also add some pork to the recipe. That is given as an option. - 8/22/16
