    2 tbsp vanilla
    .5 cup sugar
    .5 tbsp cinnamon

Directions

Combine 3 cups of blueberries, vanilla, cinnamon, sugar and 2 cups of water in sauce pan. Simmer until preferred consistency.

For thicker syrup, bring the sugar & water to a rolling boil for 5 minutes, then turn down the heat & stir in berries & vanilla - 6/30/10

Made a similar syrup; added juice of 1 freshly squeezed lemon. For sugar, I used Truvia brown sugar blend - 11/8/16

Love it! I cut it half since there are only 4 of us. My son didn't think he would like it but loved it. My daughter who is not a huge breakfast eater had two waffles she liked it so much! - 1/8/12

I make blueberry syrup all the time, fresh for pancakes or french toast. I don't use any sugar, just a tbsp per 1/2 cup of maple syrup or blue agave syrup. I start it in the microwave for a minute to explode the blueberries ( use a cover) and then put it on low on the stove until it reduces and pour - 7/1/10

Wonderful, actually I used blackberries since I had some in the freezer. I did add a a teaspoon of cornstarch, and cooked it down a bit. - 1/3/10

I used a small crockpot to prepare this, and let it simmer. It was great as a glaze when grilling chicken or pork. - 11/7/09

This had wonderful flavor, just not as thick as I would have liked even though I cooked it for at least 45 min. I also forgot to put in the vanilla as I wanted to add it after it had cooked down, but it still tasted wonderful. Perhaps next time I may add a bit of cornstarch...personal perference! - 8/1/09

Very good! We used 1/2 blueberries & 1/2 cherries and cut out the cinnamon (since there was already some in the pancakes we made). We will definitely be making it again. - 5/6/09
