Ingredients

    1 cup carrots
    1 cup celery
    2 cloves garlic
    6 cups chicken broth
    3 cups cabbage
    1 cup green beans
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 tsp dried basil
    1 tsp dried oregano
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 cup diced zucchini

    In a large saucepan, saute carrot, celery, onion, and garlic over low heat. Add cabbage, broth, beans, tomato paste, oregano and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered until beans are tender. About one hour. Add zucchini. Cook about 5 additional minutes. Serve Hot.

    Very Good
    This was very good! I left out the tomato sauce and added turkey keilbasa which complimented the soup very well. I cooked it a little longer and next time I will use fresh green beans. I will definitely make this again. - 7/27/12

    How much tomato paste....it says to add tomato paste in the directions. - 3/23/11

    Very Good
    My family and I love this soup....I cook a large batch of it up and when I am hungry this fills the spot... For lunch, I add diced chicken breast or beans, or barley or rice... What ever, just remember those things add calories. - 10/9/10
