I love ham steaks. Boil them first for a few minutes, until the water gets frothy. That's the salt. Pour the water out and bake or grill. Makes them less salty. - 3/26/10

This was pretty good. I cooked it on my George Foreman grill, and added a small splash of OJ to the marinade. The meat was tender, and had a nice flavor. It was a big hit with my husband and picky kids! - 4/20/08

This was great! The orange peel really added that something special. I will be making this one quite often. I ended up baking it because my grill died so I am really looking forward to adding the grill taste to it too! - 1/14/08

Make ham this way when ever I buy a whole. Just slice off a few slices. put in the skillet and add a little of this sauce. Turn over when heated partly through. Very simple and good. - 3/25/10

This was good but I seriously doubt the 90 calories. Very Lean ham has 35 calories an ounce so 8 oz of ham would be 280 calories. That's for the ham alone. - 3/6/08

Fast, simple and very tasty! What a wonderful aroma from the grill too. I cooked this with the "Golden Potato Grill" recipe and a couple of grilled slices of pineapple. - 8/29/07

I boiled mine to get some of the salt out first. Then I added a splash of low sugar orange juice. I let the ham steaks marinade for about 10 minutes too then tossed them onto my foreman grill. I served it with steamed greenbeans and brown rice. - 4/10/12

This is so good -- tangy plus sweet too. Sodium is a little high (yeah!) and it's extremely difficult to have just one portion! Thanks for sharing the recipe. - 3/25/10

I didn't know you could use milk to get rid of some of the salt. I know that you can use ginger ale to pour over ham to take away some of the salt, though. I like ham steak. - 3/25/10

Recipe states 1/2 lb of ham per serving, but the calorie count is for 1/2 slice of deli meat ham ... about 1/4 ounce. The calories per serving should be about 350, not 95

I hate it when people mess up entering recipes like this. Makes it much harder for the rest of us to lose weight. :-(

This was delish but I had to adjust the serving size - 2lbs of meat for 4 servings is high to me - 1/2 lb each is over the typical serving size. Could this be a typo? Because the calories for 4 servings with the glaze/topping seems low to me. So confused..... - 11/18/11

The person who said 8 ounces of ham is one serving has it wrong. One serving of meat is 3 ounces. - 11/18/10

I think the calories are off for 4 oz. of ham. More like 140 calories, maybe? It's sometimes hard to put one ingredient in as "ounces", and find the calories in "slices". - 3/26/10
