Ingredients

    Boneless skinless Chicken Breast Tenderloins 6 to 8 tenders
    3/4 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    1/2 tsp dried oregano
    1/2 tsp dried basil
    2 bay leaves
    32 oz jar Classico tomato and Basil Sauce

Directions

Makes 6 servings

1. Place chicken on bottom of slow cooker.
2. Sprinkle seasonings over chicken.
3. Pour sauce over seasoned meat, stirring to be sure chicken is completely covered.
4.Cover. Cook on low 6 hours or on hight 3 1/2-4 hours.
5. Serve over pasta.

Works best in a 4 quart slow-cooker.

    Awesome. Easy to prepare and yummy to eat. I added some things to the recipe though. 2 tsp minced garlic and 1/2 tsp of white pepper made a big difference. Will definitely make this again! - 9/12/09

    My husband had this as leftovers (with whole wheat rigotoni), and said it was great. He said to find more like this one. We did not think that it tasted as good as the recipe we found to bake it in the oven, but it was so much easier to make it made that it made up for the taste difference. - 6/1/09
