Ingredients

    2 lbs lean ground beef
    1 larger onion chopped
    2 batons of celery
    1 can of diced tomatoes
    1 small red pepper
    1 small orange pepper
    2 tbl canada garlic inc chopped garlic
    5 tsp chili powder
    2 tsp crushed red pepper
    2 tsp cumin
    1 bay leaf
    1 can (19 oz) lifesmart black beans
    1 can (19 oz) lifesmart dark red kidney beans
    1.89 litres of low sodium V8

Directions

brown the ground beef and add to the 5q slow cooker.
saute the onions, red pepper, orange peppers, garlic, celery and add to slow cooker.
Drain and rinse the beans and add to slow cooker
Drain the diced tomatoes and add to slow cooker
add the V8 juice to the slow cooker
add the spices to the slow cooker to your liking
stir...
Cook the deliciousness on high for 4 hours or low for 6. I like to serve with a toasted rye bread. Enjoy
