Delish dish!!! Mushrooms added even more flavor! Was a big hit around the table, even with the one who won't touch anything that's been in contact with "fungus"; teenager - could you tell?? - 6/4/08

The meat was nice and tender, it tasted delicious, I think the gravy could have been a little thicker, but still yummy. - 6/3/08

Delicious! I had to use canned mushroom slices since I didn't have any fresh and used regular peeled carrots instead of baby carrots. I also had to use canned beef gravy — local store didn't carry any mushroom gravy. All minor changes — the result was still yummy. - 3/19/15

    Good
This was ok. After cooking for 8 hours the meat was tough. I didnt have potatoes maybe they would have help this. - 2/2/12

I made this for Sunday dinner and it was fantastic! I modified it slightly using reduced sodium beef broth and cream of mushroom soup. 1060 mg of Sodium is way too much for 1 meal. I believe people forget how bad high sodium foods are for you. Use more seasoning and less salt to flavor your food! - 6/6/11

I messed up by using frozen vegs and made it too soupy. The flavor was great and the meat was so tender. - 3/14/11
