I totally agree with everyone else that has tried this recipe. These meatballs are so tasty and cook up great. Rather than frying the meatballs, I put them under the broiler and they turned out great. This saves on using the oil. - 1/18/09

These were good. I actually baked them at 375 for about 30 minutes...next time I will add more Italian Seasoning and bake them at 325 instead. I will definitely make them again! - 5/19/09

I forgo the cheese, replace eggs with Egg Beaters or egg whites and use Flax and Wheat Germ in place of croutons. Baking them or cooking in sauce works just as well and then you don't need the oil. Reduces calories significantly. - 5/13/09

I added a little hot auce to make them a little more spicy, but this is a great alternative to hamburger meatballs - I will definitely make these again. - 3/5/09

This was a hit at our house! I browned the meatballs, then put them in the oven at 350°F for 15 minutes to cook through. DH wanted to eat them all by themselves, without the marinara sauce, they were so tasty! - 12/6/14

Instead of bread crumbs, I used Stove Top Stuffing-Turkey flavored and I also baked them. Recipe is a keeper! - 2/14/10

I made these with red beans and rice. I used ground turkey breast and added fresh garlic and cumin. Instead of the croutons I used McCormick Crusting Blends with panko bread crums in the Italian Herb & Cheese flavor. Oh myyyy..... they were great and my kitchen smells fabulous! Thanks! - 8/15/09

These were fantastic! I omitted the parmesan cheese because I suddenly discovered I was out. Next time I might try to broil or bake them and try using just egg whites rather than the full eggs. The kids loved them! - 4/17/09

Great meatballs...but you can microwave them for three minutes depending on size. They will not be fully cooked then put in sauce and finish cooking. Gets rid of fat calories used in skillet. Being turkey there should not be much fat anyway... - 2/24/09

I didn't fry or bake the meatballs. I just rolled them and dropped them into the sauce and cooked for about an hour. If your sauce gets too thick, just add a little water. This is the way my grandmother from Sicily did it and it works. They were very tasty! - 2/24/09

These were delicious and you couldn't tell they were turkey! Ate with whole wheat rigatoni & sauce, and a little fresh grated parmesan cheese. The nine servings for me came out to 5 meatballs per serving. Guess it depends on how big you make them! - 12/31/08

Next time I make these, I'm using either beef or a beef pork mix. The turkey didn't do it. The spices overwhelmed the turkey. - 2/8/19

My husband loved these! A little too much red pepper flakes for my taste, but when I made them without, it wasn't as good for my husband. Great alternative to beef! - 2/21/10

These are great. I had been using the Shady Brook Farms turkey meatballs from the supermarket, and I recently noticed that they contain corn syrup. I found this recipe when I was looking for a home made replacement. Made 32 meatballs - enough for 4 meals for DH and I. Bravo!! - 1/11/10

I made these tonight for my boyfriend, and we loved them! They were so easy to make, and had a ton of flavor. However, instead of frying them in oil I baked them to reduce some of the fat. They WERE AWESOME! :D - 11/30/08

I really enjoyed making these meatballs... I was a little worried about frying them (usually I bake them) but they turned out delicious! I also added some diced onion and fresh garlic instead of garlic powder because I was all out... Still good!
    Thanks for the recipe!

I had a little over a pound of turkey burger so I halved the recipe. I also added some onion salt to the mix. They were outstanding! Thanks for a great recipe!
