Beer Bread Recipes

Great for toasting or along with soups or chili

You will be hard pressed to find an easier recipe for bread than this one!!! Pretty much any beer will work in this recipe, though i've had fun with beers like Bell's Cherry Stout and Big Sky Brewing's Moose Drool...so don't be afraid to throw in a bottle of your favorite intriguing beer! Just keep in mind, the same rule applies to cooking with beer as applies to cooking with wine: if you wouldn't drink it, don't cook with it!

Super simple and packed with flavor, this beer bread is the perfect accompaniment to a hearty stew or cup of soup.

The beer must be room temperature and the flour must be sifted.

There are several variations of this, but this is the simplest... AND never fails to impress.

No matter how you slice it, beer and bread just go well together. This simple raisin-studded beer quick bread is delicious for breakfast, snack time, or a dinnertime side item.

Makes 12 muffins (1 muffin = 1 serving)

converted a recipe for beer bread so i could use my 6er muffin tin! these are sooo good and so easy! you can add anything to the dry mix to vary it up: for example 1/4 cup cheese.

I wanted something new to go with our lentil soup for supper and this recipe caught my attention in the quarterly book put out by a regional grocery store. I didn't have enough white flour to make their version, nor did I actually have a bottle of lager in the house, so I modified it to meet what I had. It came out lighter in the long run too!

This is some really "whole grain" bread made with dark beer and spent grain left over from making beer - but you can leave out the spent grain if you don't have it -- add barley flakes soaked instead.

This makes a rustic looking very tasty bread. It is ridiculously quick and simple to make. You could make it anytime. It makes awesome toast. The flavor of bread will change, depending on type of beer used.

A tender bread with a good, slightly crunchy crust. Great with soups, fish, steak, or chicken. Very yummy.

Tastes just like the box you get from Tastefully Simple, only way cheaper! Great with soups, as toast, or just with some butter and some honey for breakfast!

you don't need to put in banana or chocolate chips I add them for flavor. Also you can use any beer I actually am using Guinness for this recipe

very easy to make bread

There are a few recipes for Beer Bread out there, but none as simple (and tasty!) as this one. You can even mix it in the baking pan for easy clean up. This is sensational when served with soups or just as a snack, but don't expect it to be around very long when your family gets a taste of it!

An all time favorite! My mom has been making this since I was kid. Straight out of my Wheeler Elementary cookbook! I used Miller Lite for the less calories and mild flavor but you can use any kind. Try several and play with it different beers bring out different flavors.
