This was a wonderful recipe and SO easy to make. I found if you place it in a NON-heated oven with foil over it for the first 30 minutes, it allows the yeast to really fluff this bread up. This was delicious with soup. We would definitely make this again! Thank you - 2/10/08

I was looking for a quick, easy bread to compliment some potato soup I was making. This recipe is fantastic, I made just as listed except used all wheat flour. The hint of brown sugar really makes this bread. It is so moist and just delicious. Thank you for a great recipe! - 10/12/12

This was very yummy, I used all whole wheat flour, did use an import beer and it had a bitter after taste, so next time I will use Honey weiss or a flavored beer. Just as good as tastefully simple minus the expensive cost! Thanks for sharing! - 12/2/11

    Very Good
This bread is moist and has a really great flavor. I used Corona as my beer, and it is delicious. Great texture too, it's not too dense. I may try adding some ground flax in there next time, but for now I will just enjoy the original. Thanks for posting! - 7/31/10

This was very good! (Too good! I ate way too much of it tonight!) Thanks for sharing it, despite my overindulgence. I'll make it again. - 2/4/10
