Good - the dressing is light and refreshing. Slicing 3 different types of cabbages is kind of a pain and wasteful, so I purchased the pre-bagged cole slaw mix and used this dressing instead. - 1/2/08

I used scallions instead of chives. I didn't think the sauce would be enough, but it was fine. It helps to let it sit for an hour or 2 for the vinegar to start breaking down the cabbage. I will definitely make this again. - 8/6/08

Delicious! Great idea! I modified it a bit - only used the green cabbages, added some carrots & red pepper. I also added a drop of sesame oil to the dressing & some toasted sesame seeds to the salad. Quite nice! - 7/28/08

We loved it. I didn't have all the ingredients; I used apple cider vinegar, scallions instead of chives, and ground ginger. I will definitly make it again as per the recipe. It is a really beautiful dish. - 11/4/07

I've been looking for a healthier version of slaw and this one is delicious! I use a lot of cabbage, so the extra cabbage will go to good use in other dishes such as stir fry, soup, etc. I liked the taste if the fresh ginger, this one was a hit for my family! - 10/20/11

I made this tonight with pre packaged bags of raw slaw mix. I used sugar fre apricot preserves. I put in some thin sliced red peppers, slivered almonds and a drizzle os sesame oil and some sesame seeds. I also used powdered ginger instead of fresh. It was tangy and spicy. Will definitely make again. - 5/3/09
