This recipe made more than 30 cookies when dropped 1 tspful at a time-I had 45 and I used heaping teaspoons! The mixture is absolutely delicious but I did hard-boil these for two full minutes and they did not set. I froze them and we ate them cold, that worked. - 6/18/09

An old family favorite. My sister called me a week ago because she lost her recipe. I wouldn't dare make them, I'd eat all 30. - 3/17/09

I make these all the time. Fast and easy. But the poster is correct...MAKE SURE YOU BOIL THEM LONG ENOUGH! They won't firm up if you don't and you'll have soft mushy"cow plops" as my husband eloquently dubbed them! Also, I've always removed from heat and waited one minute before adding vanilla, etc. - 12/28/07

This was incredibly sweet - boyfriend couldn't eat more than one! I have a sweet tooth though... disaster! If I cut the sugar in half, it might work better for both of us! - 4/7/09

My mom has made this recipe for years. It's very tasty. I can't make it while dieting because I can't resist eating just one. I will make it for work parties and bake sales, though. That way I eat one after making it, one at the event, and there are NEVER leftovers to take home! - 3/17/09

I would make this again, however, I would try to use less sugar. They tasted really sweet. Yet easy to make and were still delicious a few days later too. - 8/26/08

These are one of my favorite holiday treats. For something a little more decadent, you can roll these and then cover in melted white, milk and dark chocolate or simply drizzle chocolate over the tops. - 1/8/08
