Ingredients

    6 baking potatoes
    3 Tbsp margarine
    3/4 cup of skim milk
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp pepper

Directions

Peel and boil potatoes for 30-40 minutes on low/med. heat. Once cooked, mash potatoes with butter, milk, salt and pepper.

    A lot like my own mash, but I never use pepper and I personally wouldn't use as much margarine for 6 potatoes. I also prefer to use a ricer, as this doesn't spoil the texture or taste of the potato. - 10/5/08

    i have been eating this sine my childhood. we call it aaloo bhartha in india. its really healthy. but add either milk or curd but don't add both. - 12/21/07

    I make mashed potatos like this all the time getting away from instant I buy a 50 lb bag so I have them all the time only I usually use non fat milk instead and use my electric mixer to take out any lumps - 12/21/07
