This was delicious! To cut the excess sugar, I used Ocean Spray's Diet Cranberry-Pomegranate juice (with only 2 grams of sugar) and Diet Ginger Ale (w/ 0 sugars). Will definitely keep this recipe and make again! - 5/31/09

I used condensed pomegranate juice, so tweaked the recipe somewhat....It was very good! The lime juice adds a subtle flavor. Can't wait to try this with a homemade ginger ale (much spicier than the canned variety)! - 2/15/09

Really refreshing. And why would you drag down a recipe's rating for everyone else because you are allergic to a food? I have Celiac Disease, but I don't rate recipes based on that factor. Just say you can't have it and don't bother to rate it...PLEASE! - 8/16/08

I think I'll try it with frozen pomegrantes and also I'll try it again with frozen blueberries or cranberries. All great anti-oxidants. I'll let you all know. - 2/9/09

I've been making these lately for parties so that I have a drink in my hand. I usually use equal portions of pom juice and diet ginger ale. It's also good with sparkling water, if you don't like things quite so sweet. Yum! - 2/7/09

This would also be good with the lime flavored sparkling water instead of ginger ale - 2/7/09

If you are allergic to gingerale you might try using sugar free 7-up. Just an idea. - 8/16/08

The comments before the recipe say that it CAN be made with SF gingerale, so I assume the actual recipe is made with regular. If you get the 'no sugar added' pomegranate juice then the carbs should come further down. - 8/16/08

The first recipe I decided to make from SparkPeople and it was amazing! I accidentally bought Ocean Spray CranGrape instead of Pomegranate juice and it was still great. I was getting tired of drinking the same thing day after day. What a refreshing change. - 9/19/12

To make this better, use diet ginger ale and a pomegranate juice that is low in sugar and carbs (I use Healthy Balance Pomegranate Acai Blueberry Juice Cocktail). It's great, and with these changes, 4 servings average only 15 cal 4g carbs each! Perfect! - 8/19/10

    I love love love this!
I try not to drink any pop (aka soda) BUT the diet ginger ale & pomagranite juice don't make me feel guilty. I make one serving at a time. In a 10-12 oz glass i put 1 part pom juice 2 part ginger ale. POM juice is expensive! I have this after dinner- my special treat!

I thought this was incredible! I don't usually like to drink my calories but this one is well worth it! I put equal amounts of POM and gingerale and I LOVE tart but I would imagine some may want to put even more gingerale. Amazing spritzer for the summer though!! - 6/13/09

You really would have to drink alot more Pom juice to get enough anti oxidants than what is in this drink, but it tastes good. - 6/9/09

I don't think I used the right juice. I used the POM and the drink was very strong - not what I'd call refreshing. So, next time, I think I'll try one of those juices that are mixed with other fruit juice. - 8/16/08
