Very tasty! I also used chicken breast tenders and added jalapeno pepper, more garlic and a fruity balsamic vinegar instead of cider vinegar - it gave it a little sweet hot, a little bit of a Caribbean Jerk twist. Loved it! - 10/10/08

Who the hell removes skin from chicken wings? How are they supposed to get crispy without skin? I always skin the bigger pieces, but the wings I leave untouched. I love 'em, but my husband doesn't. He claims they're too fatty. Maybe I'll use this recipe to convince him they're not so bad. - 5/20/09

That's a lot of sodium for a "treat." 30% of the daily RDA for sodium. With all those seasonings, you could probably use just a dash of salt, or omit it altogether. Substituting chicken breast pieces would cut the fat also. - 8/21/08

I thought the flavor was good (I used coriander--not cumin). The only problem is, I was trying to make a whole batch (about 3 pounds) and not 4 wings...that made it hard to adjust, but I improvised and everyone loved them. I cooked them in the crock pot and they just FELL off the bone. - 6/2/08

I tripled the recipe and omitted the peppers (which I didn't have on hand) and marinated sliced pork tenderloin in it. DH and I loved it! - 12/27/08

Very yummy, I used the coriander and it turned out well. I did not have chicken wings, but used skinless, boneless thighs instead. I make enough for 4 servings. The flavor was great! A big yum! - 7/21/08

The list includes coriander seed but the directions call for cumin.
Which is it? Also, I have to say, removing the skin and bone from wings is simply not worth the effort, which is why I pass wings by altogether.

If you're going to bone and skin wings, then you're better off using a meatier part of the bird. Not much meat on a wing and it's fatty. - 5/19/10

it was ok maybe next time i will use boneless chicken strips. i couldn't find skinless wings and the process of taking the skin and bones out was hard for me. Am not that great of a cook. i will try it again because i think the recipe has potential - 8/30/09

This does sound great. I would make it with say 2lbs. of wings and they do come boneless. Skinning is very easy. I plan to make this weekend. - 12/5/08

to those of you complaining about too much work, isn't there boneless chicken wings available at the grocery store? Also, to the person who asked how much one serving was.....One serving = the whole recipe! Unless you cook more wings than is called for, but then one serving would be 4 chicken wings - 7/20/08

I made this for the whole family using chicken breast strips instead of wings. I added a dash of Gravey Master for color/flavor and served with steamed broccoli and carrots. We all enjoyed it. Thanks! - 3/5/08

If the skin and bone needs to be removed from chicken wings, I would just use a chicken breast cut in strips. This is a lot of sodium for just 4 wings. If I make this recipe, I will leave out the salt. - 7/24/19

I used skinless boneless chicken breasts. I was also unsure on whether the recipe was coriander or cumin. I have not liked coriander when I used it in the past so i used cumin. I didn't like the taste a whole lot. I made it into a sandwich with wheat toast and tomatoes and miracle whip. I like - 3/8/08

Excellent taste but there is not much to 4 wings once the skin and bone has been removed. I used chicken thighs and cut the meat into strips, Then I doubled the recipe to make enough for 2 people. It was delicious. - 2/2/20

The seasoning combo sounds real yummy! I like the idea of a bigger portion of meat - such as the boneless thighs or chicken breast - and atop a salad too! I also agree about keeping the skin on! I'll bet this gives THAT good flavor. Not sure on the coriander or cumin - will have to try both. - 7/21/08
