2 tbsp canned pumpkin
1 cup unnsweetened vanilla almond milk, heated if desired
1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Sweetener to taste (optional--calories not included)
Directions
Whisk together 1/3 cup coffee with the remaining ingredients in a tall glass or mix in a blender.
Carefully pour the pumpkin mixture into the remaining coffee and serve immediately.

I made this with a double shot of espresso instead of regular coffee, & about a cup of 2% milk instead of soy, and it was very good. I made my own pumpkin pie spice with 1 tsp ea cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice & 1/2 tsp cloves. I also froze some pumpkin/spice "lumps" - still good a week later :) - 9/29/13

Thanks for this! Although I have used pumpkin pie spice while brewing coffee, I never quite figured out how to incorporate the pumpkin itself. I tried in the brew basket (which clogged the basket) and in the bottom of the coffee cup (resulting in a grainy texture). Worked great in this latte. - 9/29/18
