Well this is wild. I will use my Sara Lee bread at only 42 calories a slice. Keep it under 150 calories for a mini meal. - 5/27/09

I also use turkey pepperoni for some kick. Wonderful on sourdough rolls too...you can cut down some of the calories by digging out some of the bread...gives the "pizza" toppings a cavity to sit in. - 10/23/08

I've been making these for my family for many years. We use wheat English Muffins but to make it more of a meal instead of a snack, I add a little protein. I chop up a chicken breast and it is really filling. - 6/1/09

I use Multi-grain bread or a Pita. I find that anything else, gets "Mushy " even when toasted. I also use fat
    free Mozzarella.

This recipe is so quick and easy! You really get to eat a pizza without all the fatty stuff and with the veggies I use, it is so healthy. I generally use an English Muffin slightly toasted; but have used a high fiber bread (even rye bread), and it all tastes great! - 5/27/09

I cook mine on my george forman grill. I grill the veggies first then add everything else, but to keep the cheese in, I use either pita bread or lavash bread and fold it over. I however do not use the pizza sauce as I am alergic to tomatoes. Otherwise very good. - 10/23/08

This is a great recipe. I, too, use english muffins (the lite ones). I oven fresh peppers (red & green), mushrooms, and onions to keep for placing on them. You can also quick fry a package of frozen mixed veg's -- peppers & onions. Any kind of veggie works. Top with lite chees & sauce.YUM! - 5/27/10

We have made these for years. The kids love them. They can make their own and use what toppings they want.We like to use the flavored tortilla shells like the tomato basil or jalapeno. I usually have to have some pepperoni, ground beef, or sausage for them. The kids like a little protein. - 5/27/10

This reminds me of an old Weight Watchers recipe I've used for a long time. I use an English muffin because it holds up better than a piece of bread. I've found some that are only 1 WW pt. for a whole one. A piece of Canadian bacon fits just perfectly too. So quick and yummy! - 5/27/09

If you are concerned about sodium, you can use fresh tomatoes sliced thin or thick and spice it with pizza spice or just with basil, oregano, and garlic. Tastes quite yummy and so good for you!
