Well, I sort of made this. I used a combination of turkey and chicken, added green chilis and used pepperjack instead of cheddar and it was darned good. - 6/19/08

sprinkled it with Fantastic World meatless chili (boxed) instead of using burger and cooked some lentils with the cabbage and onions to seem like meat. Also put canned mushrooms in before baking. The rest is the same. Very good, I called it incredible - 11/22/11

Great Recipe. It didn't leave you with a "stuffed" feeling! :) I didn't have basil, so I subt. Emril's Italian Seasoning. I also used a 14oz can of diced tomatoes, a cup didn't seem enough for me. My husband suggested I use 1.5lbs of meat next time, so I will try that. - 6/3/08

I did not have hamburger and only purple cabbage, so I tried making it with chicken and the purple cabbage. I eliminated the cheese. And, it wasn't very good, even though the fat content and calories were reduced. I'd rather try your recipe with the hamburger and green cabbage. Thanks for sharin - 6/2/08

The best way my family could describe this was "it tastes like an eggroll". You really have to like cabbage and make sure your sautee it long enough. - 2/24/17
