I used roasted chicken in place of beef...thank you for an excellent low sodium recipe...you NEED the pepper to make up for the lack of salt...DELISH!!!!
I used ground turkey as well. I loved it because the main ingredient was a very healthy vegetable. Lots of flavor for such a low-sodium dish!
I like this recipe for it's spicy taste and low calories. It is also an excellent opportunity to include green leafy vegetables in your diet. I would make it agian.
I did not have hamburger and only purple cabbage, so I tried making it with chicken and the purple cabbage. I eliminated the cheese. And, it wasn't very good, even though the fat content and calories were reduced. I'd rather try your recipe with the hamburger and green cabbage. Thanks for sharin
