Ingredients

    Swanson Chicken Broth 99% Fat Free, 2 cup
    Orzo Pasta, 1 cup
    Water, bottled, 1/3 cup
    Broccoli, fresh, 1 cup, chopped
    Carrots, raw, .5 cup, chopped
    Green Onions, .5 cup, chopped
    *Peppers, sweet, red, 1 medium, chopped
    Parmesan Cheese, grated, 1/3 cup

Directions

Combine broth, orzo and water in saucapn. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and cook 7 min.

Stir in veggies. Cook an additional 5 min. Stir in Parmesan and enjoy.

    Incredible!
    Love, love, love this recipe! I looked at the reviews and followed the suggestion to cook the veggies with the orzo. DH doesn't like crunchy veggies especially carrots but he seemed to like the dish also. Oh, I also added mushrooms I add muchrooms anytime I can!

    Very Good
    This was really good! I think it needed a little salt and pepper but that's just me. I also added chopped onion and cooked the veggies w/the pasta because I didn't want the veggies to be al dente because I have kids. Will definitely make again. I did find it needed more water tho. - 10/21/08
