Not bad. Next time I'll toast the pita before I add the sauce. The pita got a little soggy. - 2/28/10

To reduce the sodium content in this recipe, Francesco Rinaldi makes a great heart healthy pasta sauce that has a much lower sodium content than most otherh pasta sauces. And it tastes great too! - 1/21/12

This is an AMAZING alternative to the greasy, fattening pizza that people usually eat. It has more flavor and is much more enjoyable.

*Tip: If your pizza turns out a little soggy, spray the top of the pita with nonstick spray before putting the sauce on it.

I enjoy making this type of pizza a lot. I make my own pita bread with my own fresh ground flour, and use broccoli instead of zucchini, and my own favorite, but it's basically the same and very delicious! - 5/5/09

I made this with just pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella, and pepperoni. Next time I'm going to try a healthier version with chicken and lots of veggies. Also, I wish I'd seen the comment about toasting the pita first before I made this. My pita came out soggy as well. - 1/14/12

I always watch my sodium. Does anyone have a suggestion of how to do that with this recipe? I know it is still less than what we'd get with real *bad for you* pizza. - 4/21/10
