This had a great taste, I did leave out the rosemary and added a little water to the end of the cooking and tented my pan with foil to steam the broccoli. I like my broccoli a little more tender. - 7/30/09

This was delicious! I changed things a little I sauted the rosemary and garlic together and then added the mushrooms and finished as directed, although I ended up doubling the olive oil due to dryness as others have stated. - 1/14/10

This is great. I steamed my broccoli three mins before stirfrying as my husband likes his veggies tender/crisp. This is easy and delicious. A staple for us. We love broccoli. - 1/11/09

The flavors are good, but 2-3 cloves isn't really "garlic spiked" in my mind. Also I had to add more olive oil to keep the garlic from burning before the mushrooms let out their juices. Next time I'll cut the broccoli smaller too. - 1/8/13

For those who 'don't like' rosemary... try it, but with fresh. Makes a huge difference. I used to not like it either, until I got a dish made with fresh... now I love it! If you're still not sure, use just half of what the recipe calls for. You just might find out you really DO like it! :-) - 12/6/11

This was excellent! I had some extra broccoli and found this recipe so decided to try it and we liked it alot. Next time I will try the fresh rosemerry instead of the dried but beyond that I made it as written and even my kids ate it. This is a keeper for my house! - 12/13/10

I thought this was a bit dry to, even after adding a bit more olive oil (which I really didn't want to do). I hadn't read the suggestions here but I think steaming the dish with some water might moisten things up a bit. The wine sounds like a good idea too. It's still a palate adjustment for me... - 8/27/09

It was OK but the mix of flavors was not great, I love all the ingredients but they just didn't seem to mix well. I used fresh garlic and rosemary, and steamed the broccoli first to get the proper texture. Probably won't make again. - 12/13/14

Like many reviewers, I skipped the rosemary and covered the pan after adding the broccoli so it would cook more. It was good, not great, but that's partly because my garlic tasted a little bitter. I probably overcooked it before adding the mushrooms. Good enough to try again! - 9/21/13

I didn't care for the rosemary in this dish. I added a small amount of water and covered the pan to steam the broccoli a little. I would make this again leaving out the rosemary and adding toasted pine nuts before serving. - 9/19/13

I add in some chopped onion, and I've also substituted brussel sprouts and zucchini for the broccoli for a change. I use small brussel sprouts and slice them into 3 pieces. My husband doesn't like al dente veggies, so after cooking I take the pan off the heat and cover for 10 minutes. - 1/9/13

2-3 cloves of garlic is just background garlic in our household, so I used 6 very large cloves from the garlic we grew. Also I will chop the broccoli smaller next time, so it cooks quicker. Quite tasty over rice. - 12/12/11

If you like it & comment good on it-rate it good! If it's bad because of YOUR cooking or substitutions-try it right-then rate!

I only had frozen broccoli and I was disappointed with the texture. I'm going to try this one again with fresh broccoli before I rate the recipe. I will also use a little less rosemary and a little more garlic. Like someone else suggested, I added lemon juice at the end and it was a nice addition - 5/8/10
