Introduction

This is something I learned at Weight Watcher's a very long time ago. It tastes just like an ice cream sandwich and so many less calories! This is something I learned at Weight Watcher's a very long time ago. It tastes just like an ice cream sandwich and so many less calories!
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

1 rectangle graham cracker-honey plain or cinnamon
    2 TBS Cool Whip Free

Directions

Spread cool chip on one half of graham cracker. Top with the other half. Place in freezer for about an hour(longer if you can wait!) I make a lot at a time and keep a bag of them in the freezer. Always ready for snack and not guilty about it!
I also use the chocolate graham crackers and they are great!

I add a tsp of vanilla to the cool whip!
    Variations:
Strawberry Sandwiches- mix 1 6oz container light strawberry yoplait yogurt with cool whip and use chocolate, honey or cinnamon grahams.
Lemon Pie- mix 1 crystal light "on the go" lemonade drink mix packet with cool whip and use honey grahams.

I did make these and they were good but Ididn't like the consistency of the cool whip. I looked at the ingredients and discovered it is full of transfat. An alternative is Hip Whip which I found at the health food store. Take care everybody!

I used chocolate graham crackers. Dissolved small pkg of sugar free lime jello in 1/4 c water, cooled, added coolwhip and then made sandwiches from the lime flavored coolwhip (Awesome!) Will make with orange jello next time. - 1/23/09

These were great, I wanted a little more flavor so I got some light mint chocolate chip ice cream, so i used a tbsp of fat free whip topping, a tbsp of the ice cream and then fat free honey graham crackers, all in all about 150 Calories for 2, completely delicios! - 4/5/09

These are so good! I wanted some more flavor so I mixed in cocoa powder into the cool whip ( a little labor intensive but worth it). I used reduced fat graham crackers too. - 6/4/09

someone asked if this is really 2 servings? here's what i think -- recipe calls for 2 rectangle graham crackers. that would be 2 full crackers; break in two at the score and you have 4 pieces. once you put together, wouldn't that make 2 servings? just my thoughts! - 8/16/08

Not bad, but the f/f, no sugar added real ice cream sandwiches from Wal Mart are much better, and you can have one once a day. - 1/16/09

Okay i figured out the confusion. When I made it,I put 2 T cool whip to 1 rectangle, but I didn't notice it said 2 servings, which wouldn't make sense with a small square.I figured it out by playing with the recipe calc.It should be TWO graham crackers;1 T of cool whip per rectangle,to fit thenutrition - 8/22/08

These are great! My husband and I both substitute these for higher-calorie dessert choices, and it is just enough to satisfy my sweet tooth without ruining my day.
Tip- Chocolate Graham crackers make them even more like the ice cream sandwiches we loved as children, but all flavors are yummy!

I make these sometimes as well except I use Reddi Whip (regular, extra creamy, or fat free) for a substitute of Cool Whip. It's healthier, 15 calories for 2 tablespoons and the fat free Reddi Whip is only 5 calories for two tablespoons. It's pricier but far better for you and much more tasty! - 4/2/13

These were sooooo good! I crave sweet things like most people and these are such a good alternative! I used the chocolate graham crackers and fat free cool whip which makes for little under 100 calories per sandwich with 4 Tbsp of cool whip. I will add cocoa to the cool whip for chocolate flavored. - 2/15/13
