Recipe chgs: used 1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce instead of oil; used 1/4 cup of xylitol & about 25-30 drops of Stevia extract (NOW brand) for sweetener, (Next time add 1 tsp of stevia extract which is equiv to 1/2 cup of sugar) 1/8 tsp of ground cloves instead of nutmeg. Baked 40 minutes not 18 - 1/18/15

    Incredible!
I loved these. They were easy to make and I already had all of the ingredients. They are even gluten free! I had to bake mine 10 minutes longer than suggested. - 2/27/13

Great recipe, changed sugar to 1/2 cup Splenda and 1/4 cup sugar free syrup - very dense and not overly sweet - 2/13/13
