Reading the comments makes me think would have to cut out salt many times I use this as a guide. - 7/21/20

It was gross! WAY too floury and cooked to long. I think six teaspoons, and one and a half minuets. By the way, I am nine. - 2/28/18

Wouldn’t even give this one star!!! It is incredibly dry, is like a sponge, and it’s basically flavorless. I tried saving mine by putting it in a bowl and adding ice cream- I ended up just eating the ice cream.. Also, it makes a HUGE amount!! Definitely not single serving.. - 12/16/17

    O.K.
I tasted too much baking soda. It was big enough to share so I gave my husband over half of the calories. We put blueberry simply fruit on it for icing and it was okay, but I like the chocolate ones better. My husband seemed satisfied so that's something. - 3/11/17

It was incredibly salty. If I make it again, I'll use less salt (1/8 tsp. is an incredible amount for such a small cake) and see how it comes out. - 2/4/17

Awful! Don't even bother. Somehow it ended up tasting like a sponge- with soap on it. I followed all the directions, yet it still turns out awful. - 2/19/16
