Ingredients

2 (3 ounce) packages beef-flavored ramen noodles, broken in half
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
1 Tbsp olive oil (or more as needed)
    2 medium carrots, thinly sliced
    2 stalks celery, thinly sliced
1 (6 ounce) package frozen pea pods, thawed
    1/2 cup bean sprouts
    1 tsp ground ginger
1/3 cup teriyaki sauce, or to taste
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions

1. Cook noodles according to package directions, except drain the noodles and reserve the seasoning packets for later use.

2. Meanwhile, heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add all vegetables except pea pods and stir-fry for about 3 minutes or until crisp-tender. Remove vegetables from skillet and keep warm.

3. Add steak strips to skillet and stir-fry for 3 minutes or until done. Return vegetables to the skillet. Stir in noodles, reserved seasoning packets, pea pods, teriyaki sauce, ginger and red pepper flakes. Continue to cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until heated through.

This was awesome! I substituted some spices and I also threw in some small pieces of broccoli. I also only used one packet from the ramen & skipped the ginger... still delicious! I will definitely make this again. - 5/26/11

Very yummy with lots of healthy veggies! I also added in this recipe water chestnuts, tiny corns, sweet red pepper, mushrooms. Instead of the high in sodium beef ramen noodles I used actual lo mein noodles. They were really quick and easy to do! Thanks for sharing this recipe! - 10/18/09
