I slice my "fries" crossways instead of lengthwise. So I have round fries instead of long ones, but that way they are the same thickness and cook more evenly. I also use aluminum foil. I don't turn the fries during baking. - 4/18/10

my husband makes these but uses olive oil to toss instead of pam. We don't like the taste of pam all that well. Your recipe is very good though. Thanks for posting it - 4/20/09

This recipe was simple and similar to one of my own, best tip was wiping the pan after spraying it with cooking spray. This is the first time I have made them that they have not stuck to the pan. - 6/4/10

I make something similar to this (different spices) but I line my baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray that with pam...easier clean up and the fries don't stick! - 1/12/10

I have made these before and I have also used french fries in place of real potatoes. I usually use a little splash of EVOO and get my hands in there and mix them around they brown up really nice. This recipe is so easy use for hashbrowns, onion rings, or tater tots. - 5/29/09
