The was delicious and moist! A great thing for WLS patients. I've had them 2 days in a row. YUM!

1/16/09 I made these again today using Caribbean Black Beans, ground turkey, an egg and some hot sauce and baked them in silicone cupcake holders. Major YUM! I'm going to try more variations. :-)

Really good. I added a tablespoon of dried onion flakes instead of the onion. For my tastes, I would add extra cumin and worcestershire. These were great for lunch, but they would be an acceptable hamburger substitute esp with a side of grilled mushrooms. The been puree would be a great dip. - 1/6/09

for my DH to love these, it is a miracle! I forgot to mash the beans but it was still extremely good. I made them on the grill. Next time I will go ahead and double the size of them for easier handling on the grill! Will do this one often!!! - 8/29/13

They do not look to good when you are making them, but once they are cooked they are fantastic. I brought leftovers to work and all my coworkers went bananas. The copy machine got a workout spitting copies of recipe. - 1/7/09

They were edible but we won't make them again. I was looking forward to them but they just were not impressive. I wondered if I made them wrong, but after looking over the recipe realized I made exactly as instructed. We aren't picky eaters but no one liked them. - 1/4/09
