I cannot believe that people who like thi recipe haveno clue about just how toxic Splenda is. It is proven to be unsafe for PWD (diabetics) because it leads to calcifcation of the kindy as well as the thymus (immune system) and promotes obesity as it metabolizes the carbs. I can't believe how easy this was and my VERY picky 9 yr old thought she went to heaven when she tasted this!! I couldn't find fat free choc. soy milk so I just used the one I did find with the least amount of fat. I also had to use the fat free choc. pudding as I couldn't find the sugar free. YUM! - 3/19/09

This was extremely good. I used Fairlife chocolate milk in place of soy milk but I will make it again. It was a really satisfying, creamy, rich shake. - 3/10/16

Sounds great, but I plan to substitute 1 tbsp regular peanut butter with 2 tbsp PB2 for fewer calories and a more peanutty taste. - 7/14/11

do you make the pudding mix first, or put in the dry mix? - 7/17/10

I really liked this.. and there was nothing wrong with it in general. I prefer a regular chocolate shake though so im'a replace the PB with more chocolate pudding and make it a chocolate smoothy next time :) I didn't have crushed ice. I used 10 pieces of med. ice & I think next time ill use 13 or 14 - 1/11/10
