This is fantastic!!! I have made it twice now. For those who think it needs a little something. I recommend using reduced fat philadelphia chive and onion cream cheese. - 3/7/10

This recipe is so quick and easy and it turned out wonderful. I used low fat cream cheese and Jennie O Smoked turkey sausage instead of the ham. It was wonderful. My husband ate seconds and took some to work the next day. Thanks so much for sharing. - 1/24/09

Had a better flavor the next day. I also added some corn the next day as it kind of reminded me of a corn chowder missing the corn. - 1/22/11

Oh my goodness!! I made this last night and it is MARVELOUS!! I just used ham lunch meat and made it on the stove. My husband, who wasn't so sure about having potato soup, LOVED IT! Thanks for the awesome recipe. It is going to be a frequent meal at our house! - 11/2/09

I make it with fat free chicken soup and low sodium chicken broth. I can have a little shredded cheese with the extra fat and cals. Great soup anytime. Beats canned anyday! - 7/6/09

This is my usual blend, too, although I've never tried it withthe cream cheese. It sounds incredible. I typically use green onions, as well. :) - 12/4/11

I used turkey bacon instead of the turkey ham, and I'm going to try leeks next time instead of regular onions. But WOW! It smelled wonderful all day, and I wasn't disappointed - BF liked it, too, so it'll go on our regular menu! - 4/3/09

This is my favorite! I have never been able to make a good potato soup...until now. I've made it two or three times. I like it with or without additional cheese but what's great about it is that my fiance will eat it too! (Big meat and potato man).. Thank you thank you! - 2/20/09
