Just made cupcakes because I needed them to cool quickly. I mixed yellow cake mix with Sprite Zero. I haven't even iced them yet, but had to let everyone know how yummy they are just plain. Thanks!!! - 1/24/09

I like this with vanilla cake and I have used Diet creme soda or diet sierra mist, either was fine. the pudding I used was vanilla. I have also made a chocolate cake doing this same thing but I didn't use the pineapple topping.

The topping doesn't harden like frosting so it could be messy on a cupcake. This recipe is so easy. Really nice to whip up for a lowfat dessert.
