I calculated the calories for ALPHAKJS recipe- 248! I thought that version tasted better anyway- and a smaller more managable portion. My kids beg for this- even have a song about "Brownie in a Cup"! - 2/14/11

I substituted oat flour for the wheat flour (allergic to wheat) and added half and half instead of water. I had to microwave it for 2-1/2 minutes instead of 1 to 1-1/2 min. But the results were the VERY delicious! OMG! It was like cake-ish with hot chocolate lava on it. Mmmm, I had to share it! - 5/1/12

I made the sugar and cocoa equal - 2 TBSP each. Then I put in 1 TBSP flour, 1 TBSP oil and 3 TBSP water, and 1 tsp vanilla extract and dash salt. Nuked it for 60 seconds. Mmm, chewy! Still makes it cakey, too. And because I used less sugar and less flour and less oil, I'm sure I cut the calories! - 11/25/10

I made a slight adjustment, adding just a little baking powder and salt. It was pretty good, as veg*n desserts go, but I am going to see if I can't come up with a variant that involves less oil and sugar. - 5/6/10
